In the Azure portal, search for Traffic Manager profiles in the search bar at the top. Click on Traffic Manager profiles from the search results.
Click + Create to create a new Traffic Manager profile.
Fill out the following details:
Click Create to create the Traffic Manager profile.
After the Traffic Manager profile is created, go to the Endpoints section. Click + Add to add endpoints to the Traffic Manager profile.
Choose the Type of endpoint (Azure endpoint, External endpoint, or Nested endpoint) and provide the required details based on the endpoint type:
Set the Priority, Weight, or Geographic region based on the routing method you selected. Enable or disable monitoring settings as needed.
Click OK to add the endpoint. Repeat this process to add all necessary endpoints.
Use the Overview and Metrics sections to monitor traffic distribution and performance.
Test the DNS name associated with your Traffic Manager profile to ensure it routes traffic correctly to the VPN endpoints.
If needed, adjust endpoint priorities, weights, or add new endpoints to optimize traffic routing.
Ensure your VPN clients are configured to use the Traffic Manager profile's DNS name for VPN access.
If using Azure VPN gateways, ensure they are configured as endpoints in the Traffic Manager profile.
Test VPN connectivity through the Traffic Manager profile to ensure it’s functioning as expected.
